The Day Trip to Capri & Sorrento allows you to explore this beautiful island just off the coast and a charming seaside town all in one day. The tours are led by an expert English speaking walking guide who will help to create a personalized experience while taking into account your specific interests. This services enables you to tour with a native Italian walking guide showing you the real face of the areas you are visiting. The tours are available in English or Italian, and are delivered with an insight and style that keeps our tours entertaining, fun, and informative.

Tour Description:

We will send our professional driver and walking guide to meet you in the lobby of your Positano hotel at 8:15am for a day full of Capri sun and a one hour walking tour in the heart of Sorrento. You will meet our local walking guide in the lobby of your hotel and your driver will transfer your party and the guide to Sorrento to catch the hydrofoil together for Capri (at approximately 9am though times vary seasonally so we will advise you in advance of the appropriate time to start the day based on hydrofoil schedules). The earlier we start out for Capri the better so that you find less crowds when you arrive.

Our local walking guide will accompany you first to Capri (roughly 30 minute sailing time from Sorrento) where you will see the highlights of Capri with the guide at your side arriving by about 9:30am.  Upon arrival to Capri we can stop at Piazza Umberto if you like for a cappuccino.  This is a great spot for people watching or catching a celebrity on holiday.  We will be sure to show you all of the highlights of the island with the guide at your side as well as time to visit shop or two along the way. We will also make time for a light lunch in Capri and time allowing, you maybe be able to see another site on Capri before you catch the hydrofoil to Sorrento which is about 30 minutes sailing time at about 2:30pm. 

Upon arrival into the Sorrento port, we will have our driver professional driver waiting for you to transfer you to the town center to see the best of Sorrento with your walking guide on a 1 hour tour. In Sorrento you will say a final arrivederci to your walking guide before your driver will transfer you back to your hotel via the beautiful scenery of the Amalfi coast.

**Visits to Capri are dependent on calm seas. If on your tour date Hydrofoils are not running to the island we will have an alternate itinerary for your day so that you are able to see as much as possible.

Additional Information To Note:

• This tour starts and ends in your local hotel in the Naples/or Positano Hotel and includes a simple professional driver for pick up and drop off and a walking guide for pick up, Capri & Sorrento. 
• Start time may vary depending on your hotel location on the coast. This tour departure is based on the hotel being in Positano. 
• We do not offer this exact service from Amalfi or Ravello as travel on the coast is too long for the timing of the day.
• The order of this day, may be reversed based on traffic or guide availability and will be decided by the driver & walking guide on the day of the tour.
• We can only accomodate up to 7 people maximum with our largest vehicle as we need to leave space in the van for the walking guide.  The price varies from 6 to 7 people.
• The approximate length of the day is 8 hours 
• Please note that on weekends from May to October because of the increased traffic in the area, we may decide to have an earlier start to your tour and will notify you if so.
• Our driver will be happy to give you suggestions to suit your tastes and budget for your lunch break.
• Hydrofoil tickets for passengers: Between Capri and Sorrento 17 euros each person each way. Hydrofoil tickets are not included in the cost of the tour.
• If you need public transport while in Capri, about 1.80 Euro per person each way, that is not included in the price of the tour.

• Headsets if required based on party size, admission fees, hydrofoil tickets, lunches and gratuities are not included in the price of the tour.
• We do not offer the Blue grotto as part of this tour since you need about 2-2.5 hours of the day dedicated just to that and this means you will not have sufficient time to see the rest of Capri.
